Some companies may have a good connection to a major bakbone provider but does your hosting company have redundant connectivity right from the border router. We allow burstability all the way up to 100Mbps right onto the Internet. That's direct connectivity in excess of OC-3 connectivity not rate limited connectivity limited to one or two T-1s like many hosting companies.

But connectivity is not just external connectivity it's internal connectivity as well and standards make the difference. While some hosting companies may figure 100Mbps connectivity meets standards sufficiently we believe in optimizing internal performance to maximize external performance.

So where many companies use Cat5 cabling or in a few cases Cat5e cabling we set standards two levels higher with Cat6 cabling as our minimum. Additionally we offer fiber optic interconnects for even higher performance clustering and SAN needs.

Of course to take advantage of our advanced cabling standards we also impliment infrastructure hardware designed for true Gigabit speeds for either 1000base-TX Gigabit Copper or 1000base-SX Fiber Optic networks. And this is not just something we offer Gigabit switches and NICs are our standard.
